White House Nannies does not set rates for nannies nor do we take a cut of your income. Hourly rates are negotiated directly between nannies and families. Below are the rates we are currently seeing in the area.
Nanny salaries/hourly-rates vary depending on job requirements, the living situation, the number and age of children, and the nanny’s experience.
One of the advantages of working with White House Nannies is that we educate families on how to be good employers. A major part of that is advising families on benefits packages. As an agency, we’re proud to be known as strong advocates and supporters of professional nannies who earn professional wages and benefits.
We were the 1st agency in the country to make health insurance a standard benefit for Nannies. A standard contribution is at least half of the premium.
Requirements vary by locations. A standard number of paid sick days is 5-7 in DC, MD, & VA.
A standard number of vacation days is 10 (2 weeks) and 7-11 Federal Holidays.
Our staff advocates for you throughout the placement process & is here for support & guidance during your placement. We truly get to know you.
Throughout the year, we offer FREE training opportunities for nannies to expand their expertise, gain insight, and develop new skills.
